John C. Maxwell wrote; “You will never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine.” Routine in simple terms is a usual or fixed way of doing things. Most people start creating a new habit and by the next day it is old news. This is why change is so alien to the best of us. But it ought not to be so, we all are capable to evolve and experience effective change when done right. And routines are your best trigger to achieve your desired change. We will be sharing a couple of routines you can imbibe into your day-to-day activities and experience your desired change.
Exercise daily – don’t wait till you get that gym membership or fitness instructor. All the aforementioned options to exercise are okay, but don’t let all that be a hindrance if you can’t access them at the moment. There are 5-10 minutes exercise you can incorporate into your daily activities that will lead to the changes you want to see in your body and health.
Eat right – become intentional about your meals. Decide you will eat at least one healthy meal with each passing day and before you know it, healthy eating becomes a part of you and effortlessly, your body becomes configured into this new habit that even when you want to eat junk, it becomes alien to your taste buds.
There are many beautiful routines you can start with, these two are among the most common ones to get you started on a healthy living journey and bring the change you want to see in your health, self-esteem, career and life in general. Truth is, when you feel good about yourself, you exude the best parts of yourself more. Today, we encourage you to create a routine that works for you or start with these ones, wake up each day at a set time and repeat. This is the trigger to the change you need.
