Roast Chicken Recipe.
It’s Christmas and in accordance to the “National Association of Nigerian Mothers” (we just invented this, lol), there must be chicken in every household! Have you ever watched a Hollywood Christmas movie were family A has the perfect turkey and the imperfect family B after several attempts at preparing a simple turkey and end up ordering in just to save Christmas? Well, whichever category you ever pictured yourself in, put a smile on your face; as Suppy seasoning has the perfect recipe for you to re-event the delectable roast chicken! Get your ingredients in line, sharpen your knives and get ready to carve out the perfect piece and tickle your taste buds!
Garlic butter Roast Chicken.
Ingredients;
Whole chicken with a cavity
Garlic
Butter
Olive oil
Parsley
Lemon
Suppy seasoning
Steps
Preheat Oven, wrap your pan with foil and grease then rinse whole chicken and dry with paper towel. Make a mixture of olive oil, butter, lemon and rub richly all over the skin and inside every inch of the chicken. Season chicken thoroughly by rubbing Suppy seasoning, salt, pepper and parsley all over the skin, don’t hold back. Rub the minced/grated garlic over and in the chicken’s skin, this is done lastly to maximize the garlic flavor. Put in some more garlic, squeeze half a lemon, thyme and any other herb of your choice into the chicken cavity. Roast for about 60-75 minutes. Then simmer until it’s golden and crisp!
Serve with Jollof rice, boiled/mashed potatoes or Pasta salad and savor each bite, then bless the Good Lord for Chicken!
