Environmental pollutants are compound introduced in the natural environment causing adverse changes,for example, adversely affecting health or causing other types of damage. Among these, the pesticides,herbicides, and fungicides are of considerable interest since they have a large-scale use in agriculture.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) reports on six major air pollutants, namely; particle pollution, ground-level ozone, carbon monoxide, sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides, and lead. Air pollution can have a disastrous effect on all components of the environment, including ground water soil and air.
More than 12 million people around the world die every year because they live or work in unhealthy environments. Health people 2030 focuses on reducing people’s exposure to harmful pollutants in air,water,soil,food and materials in homes and workplaces.
