The story of Daily-Need Group can be compared with a mustard seed that germinates and grows to become an OAK tree.

It all started as Daily-Need Chemist through the dream of Otunba (Dr.) Matthew Oyin Jolayemi, OFR in 1970. It was at 134, Nnamdi Azikiwe Street on Lagos Island. After two years of trading, manufacturing of cosmetics started in Surulere and the first product (PAULINA BEAUTYCREAM) was manufactured on the 19th November 1972, whilst pharmaceuticals were added the following year. The foray into pharmaceuticals commenced with the production of Penicillin Ointment.

The Organization made a giant stride in 1974 by moving into its factory which it still occupies till today on Plot 10, Unity Close, Off Ladipo Street, Matori. This year did not pass away without a landmark achievement. It was in the same year that Daily-Need Toothpaste was launched into the market for the first time.

In line with the trend of that time, the company administrative Head Office was located at 24, Origiri Street in the heart of Lagos Island. This was maintained till 29th of June 2007 when the administrative Head Office moved to its modern edifice. In the last six years, we have been able to reposition Daily-Need Group as a market driven organization which is sensitive to the yearnings of the ordinary man

We have succeeded in having a solid foundation for future growth. The next phase in our development programme is to set up a modern factory which is of WHO requirement/recommendation.

Every machinery has been put into motion to achieve this within the shortest time possible. Our vision is to be one of the best three in the industry within the next few years.
