Why diet? Scrap the planner
A new trend is on the rise and it appears to linger on a little longer. It is called dieting! Like every new wave/era, it is exciting until something better shows up. Dieting in its pure form is great and a necessity for a healthy, full life. Everyone should imbibe it because of its many great benefits such as less hospital visits, an impeccable waistline…and more! Furthermore, it should jump off the pages of “cool” culture trend and make its home in each household’s meal plan. It may be strange and require a truck load of work, but at the end totally worth it!
Here is an easy way to create a healthy meal plan and stick to it. Don’t just hit google up and subscribe to an unknown diet plan because its looks good on the model in the story. Take time out and dust the pages of your elementary science notebook, know the classes of food and their “pros” and “cons”. List down your favorite food stuff and find out all you can about them. Tailor your diet to fit your body and taste buds as it applies to a dress fitting. In doing this, dieting will be more fun and a normal lifestyle than a chore given to you by a mean taskmaster.
Find below a few tips to cultivate into your diet.
- High protein and low carbohydrate; take your carbs during the day so they can burn faster as you expel energy in your day-to-day activities.
- Snack on fruits such as apples and grapes.
- Eat more vegetable; spinach has a load of benefits and it is readily available at an affordable cost.
- Drink more water and cut down on soda.
- Substitute smoothie for the processed fruit juice.
- Eat more of white meat.
Dieting shouldn’t be a chore, throw-out the unrealistic rule book and build your own meal-table with moderation. Practice portion-control, eat your veggies at all times, hydrate well and cut down on artificial sugar…we hope this was helpful and you’re a step closer to living your best life!
