3 Routines to smash your Goals
The most part of our lives are full of many twists and cliffhangers. Some exciting while others just completely exhausting. Life has many unpredictability in itself, it is up to us to create a path of normalcy. That’s where routines come to play. It may require some dedication and hard work, but definitely worth it. The holidays are over, but a good number of our bodies are still singing the tales. Increased waistline, fatigue, lack of concentration at work/school and more. This post is to enlighten you on routines to jump-start and keep you running steady as the year unfolds.
We have 3 amazing routines here; good sleep, healthy eating and adequate exercise. Consistency is the key that unlocks the doors to execution. Most times, as a result of adrenaline or some zeal, we charge in at full speed aiming to hit the target but ending up way in over our heads and gasping for breath halfway. Routines are effective, but like most good things of life, you need to ease into it little by little to excel. Taking baby steps and strengthening those muscles along the way.
Good sleep; that waistline you miss, sleep can actually help with that. With an average of 7-9 hours of sleep daily keeps our heart healthy, prevents disease like cancer and inflammation, improves brain function and keeps you at your best during the day.
Healthy eating; instead of depriving yourself of good food that brings comfort, you can actually eat your cake without blowing up. Combo of tiny sized whole meals with lots of vegetables aids in digestion and quickens one’s metabolism. Portion control at good timed intervals creates room for your body to break down consumed food easily. Incorporate food rich in antioxidants like cucumbers and carrots and keep your digestive system active.
