3 Health Goals
3 Health Goals
At the beginning of each year or season of our lives, we make certain goals towards various projects in our life. Most times these goals are not health related. We are here with a few health goals to spur you on. We also urge you to embrace these simple goals and live a whole life. Prepare your body for the fight ahead.
Rest well daily: the first goal on our list is rest. Studies have shown that people with the best health get at least 7 to 8 hours of rest daily. If need be, make a conscious effort to clock in at least 7 hours of sleep each day. Also, take out time to breathe clean, fresh air. Daily relaxation or recreation is very great for your mind and body. It could be a stroll in the park or a few minutes of some sport.
Stay clear of a sedentary lifestyle: ensure you have at least 30-60 minutes of physical activity on a daily basis. Take a walk on your hallway at work. Skip hopping on that bike and clock in a few miles while saving some money in the process. Instead of mailing a report, print out on a machine on another floor and file it. Make out time generally to be active.
Personal hygiene: imbibe a clean, healthy personal hygiene. Wash your hands frequently; after using the toilet, whenever you get home, wake up, before and after a meal. When washing your hands, make sure you use soap and water or alcohol-based hand sanitizer. These kills off viruses/bacteria that may be on your hands. Cover your mouth and nose whenever you cough or sneeze. Take a bath before going out and when you get back in. Do your laundry always and put on clean underwear at all times.
As great as these health goals are, in consistency lies the best result. Make it a daily habit, if you must have a cheat day, it should never be two days in a row. Aging gracefully and living a full life starts today. We hope you will embrace this culture and live your best life. We are rooting for you as always!
